Baby Atharv celebrated his first birthday in a mini jungle full of fun at home!
Baby Atharv and his parents shifted to India from the US post worldwide lockdown. His birthday was just around the corner and papa Anish really wanted to make it memorable but couldn’t risk throwing a birthday party.
First birthday cake smash sessions is a common concept in the west, and something papa Anish really wanted to get done but was worried due to COVID.
Since I specialize in home shoots, he was reassured and super relaxed that we could do a shoot at the comfort and safety of baby Atharv’s home.

Celebrating with cake smash photoshoot can be an amazing memory of your little one’s first birthday. A series of images capturing your baby’s first encounter with the cake, where they are all excited, confused, mesmerized – all at the same time!
In cake smash sessions there’s one thing that I always keep in mind when finalizing a theme: ensuring that it aligns with the baby’s personality and likes/dislikes. I usually keep my set ups neat with few props so that major focus remains on the baby.
