Baby Norah aka Chuku’s mommy & daddy drove down all the way from Chandigarh to get their little one clicked for her first birthday. And I must admit that she was a super-thrilled and active baby throughout the session. More than eating, she loved smashing the cake and of course riding her unicorn rockabye.
I remember asking her mommy to bring the baby's favorite toys at the shoot, and the moment she mentioned about Norah's favorite new unicorn rockabye, I instantly knew that would be our cake smash theme.

Celebrating with cake smash photoshoot can be an amazing memory of your little one’s first birthday. A series of images capturing your baby’s first encounter with the cake, where they are all excited, confused, mesmerized – all at the same time!
In cake smash sessions there’s one thing that I always keep in mind when finalizing a theme: ensuring that it aligns with the baby’s personality and likes/dislikes. I usually keep my set ups neat with few props so that major focus remains on the baby.
